How to use View count × RPM scenario
- Enter a nonnegative whole-number view count for the scenario you want to calculate.
- Enter your own assumed RPM in USD per 1,000 views. Both fields start blank.
- Select Calculate scenario and review the amount and the full arithmetic.
- Change an input to clear the old result, or select Reset scenario to start again.
An explicit formula
The amount is calculated as view count divided by 1,000, multiplied by the RPM you enter. For illustration only, 100,000 views and an assumed USD 3 RPM give a USD 300 scenario. That example is arithmetic, not a typical channel rate, reported income, or forecast.
Zero views or zero RPM produces zero in that specified scenario. It does not establish that any channel has no earnings. The displayed amount is rounded to two decimal places; the calculation uses your numeric inputs.
Supply the assumptions yourself
This calculator does not fetch channel analytics, estimate niche-specific RPM, check monetization eligibility, or choose rates based on a country or video category. It also does not model changes in RPM over time. Select inputs that belong to the same scenario and review where your own assumption came from.
There are no automatic deductions for taxes, costs, refunds, or other adjustments. An adjustment affects the result only if you have already included it in the RPM you enter. The result is not an accounting statement or a prediction of future platform income.
Limits and processing
Views must be a whole number within the safe integer range. RPM must be finite and nonnegative. Results too large to display safely to cents are rejected instead of displaying Infinity or an unreliable currency value.
The calculation runs in this browser page without an account, payment step, or external analytics request. Inputs and results are not saved as history. Editing either field clears the prior result so it cannot be mistaken for a calculation of new inputs.
Which format do you need?
| Your next task | Input or choice | Output or result |
|---|---|---|
| Calculate a specified scenario | your views and your USD RPM | views ÷ 1,000 × RPM |
| Determine a typical industry RPM | a niche or country | not estimated or supplied |
| Confirm actual income | real account and payment evidence | not provided by scenario arithmetic |
Questions about this tool
Where does the RPM come from?
You enter it yourself. The calculator provides no industry rates or defaults and does not retrieve channel analytics.
Is the result a YouTube earnings prediction?
No. It is the arithmetic result of your chosen views and RPM assumptions, shown as a USD scenario.
What is the calculation?
Views divided by 1,000, multiplied by your RPM in USD per 1,000 views. The displayed total is rounded to two decimal places.
Does it deduct tax or expenses?
No automatic deductions are applied. Include any adjustments in your own RPM assumption if they belong in the scenario.
Can I enter zero?
Yes. Zero views or zero RPM produces zero for that scenario. Negative values, fractional view counts, and unsafe or nonfinite amounts are rejected.
Are my inputs sent to an analytics service?
No. The calculation runs in this page and does not fetch analytics, send scenario inputs to a server, or save calculation history.
